Refund policy

We want you to pay only for repairs that work. That is why every file gets a free repaired preview before you subscribe.

Cancel anytime

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account in one click (through the Polar customer portal). You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for, and you will not be charged again.

When we refund

Contact within 14 days of a charge and we will refund it if:

  • the full exported file does not play even though the preview of the same file did, or
  • you were charged for a renewal you did not intend and you have not exported any files since that renewal.

We may ask for a short description of the problem (never the file itself) to improve the tool.

How refunds are paid

Refunds are issued by Polar.sh, our merchant of record, to the original payment method. Depending on your bank, they appear within 5 to 10 business days.

Accidental renewals

If you forgot to cancel a yearly plan, write to us within 14 days of the renewal and we will refund it if the plan was not used after renewal.
