This policy explains what data FixMP4 ("we", "us") processes when you use https://fixmp4.com.

Your media files are never uploaded

The files you repair (videos, voice memos and reference files) are opened and processed entirely inside your web browser on your own device. They are not uploaded to our servers or to anyone else, and we never see their content, names or metadata. When you close the tab, the data is released from memory.

Account data

If you create an account we store:

  • your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your name and profile picture as provided by Google,
  • session records needed to keep you signed in,
  • your subscription status (plan, status, renewal date, Polar customer and subscription IDs).

Sign-in links are sent by email through our email provider. Google sign-in is provided by Google under its own privacy policy.

Payments

Payments are handled by Polar.sh, which acts as merchant of record. Polar processes your payment details, billing address and tax information. We do not receive or store card numbers. Polar sends us notifications (webhooks) about your subscription status so we can unlock exports.

Analytics

If enabled, we use Google Analytics with IP anonymisation to understand which pages are visited. Analytics never receives the content of your files. You can block analytics with any standard content blocker.

Cookies

We use a session cookie when you are signed in and, if analytics is enabled, analytics cookies. We do not use advertising cookies.

Retention and deletion

Account data is kept while your account exists. Email to delete your account; subscription records may be kept as required for tax and accounting purposes.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA) you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to processing. Contact .
